Volleyball Recap: Pueblo South Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pueblo Central Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-14, 25-3.

Ashlynn Saenz was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Carlee Maes also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pueblo Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Pueblo South has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pueblo East on the 7th. As for Pueblo Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Fowler on the 4th.
