Hamlin had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Central Trojans on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The Chargers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Hamlin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayci Trowbridge led the charge by getting 12 digs and four assists.

Hamlin's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for West Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 23-9 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Hamlin and Clark/Willow Lake will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:45 p.m. on the 20th. West Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
