Football Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Aurora Greenmen, falling 42-14. If the Rough Riders were looking for revenge after losing 49-14 to the Greenmen when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roosevelt now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Aurora, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Roosevelt will challenge Tallmadge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aurora, they will face off against Barberton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greenmen will be up against the Magics' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
