Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Starts Season with Win at Home

Moon Valley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Agua Fria Owls. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Moon Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moon Valley will welcome Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Agua Fria, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against La Joya Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
