JSerra Catholic put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the St. John Bosco Braves by a score of 3-1. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while the Braves are ranked 433rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jake Tatch and Gavin Allegaert scored all three of JSerra Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

JSerra Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for St. John Bosco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-6 record this season.
