Volleyball Recap: Nixa Takes a Loss

Nixa saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Park Hill Trojans.

Kyle Griffin paced Nixa's offense, picking up seven kills. Griffin got some help from Bryce Peebles and his 12 assists.

Nixa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Park Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4-1.

After both having extra time off, Nixa and Rock Bridge will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Park Hill, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lee's Summit on the 1st.
