Basketball Recap: Nantahala Hawks vs. Summit Charter Bears

Nantahala easily dispatched Macon Early College last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Hawks fell just short of the Summit Charter Bears by a score of 84-82 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (68), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cole McCoy, who dropped a double-double with 40 points and 12 rebounds.
