Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils vs. Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes

The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils and the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Monday, Shenandoah Valley came up short against Weatherly and fell 52-43. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Schuylkill Haven had just enough and edged Williams Valley out 71-68 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Schuylkill Haven is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Shenandoah Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Shenandoah Valley was taken down by Schuylkill Haven 72-42 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Shenandoah Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
