Baseball Recap: DePaul College Prep Comes Up Short

DePaul College Prep lost against Loyola Academy on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-10 to the Ramblers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Rog made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Addison Latko, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

DePaul College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Loyola Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-19 record this season.

DePaul College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loyola Academy, they will challenge Solorio at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Ramblers' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Sun Warriors have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
