Football Recap: Casey County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jackson County last Friday, Casey County came back down to earth. The Rebels took a 30-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton County Bulldogs on Friday.

Casey County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Clinton County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Casey County will host Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Golden Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Clinton County, they will head out to face off against Monroe County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
