Soccer Recap: Trivium Prep Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

With a playoff win on the line, Trivium Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the NFL Yet Academy Eagles 1-0. Given the Crimson Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Eagles are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trivium Prep's one-goal win came courtesy of Javan Brown, who's now up to seven this season.

Trivium Prep pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 75 goals over those 12 matchups. As for NFL Yet Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Trivium Prep didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Phoenix Country Day on the 22nd. NFL Yet Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
