Softball Game Preview: Medfield Warriors vs. Medway Mustangs

The Medfield Warriors will square off against the Medway Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Medfield managed to slip by Westwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Wolverines on Wednesday, falling 6-0.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Medway and Dedham, and Medway kept the tradition alive. The Mustangs blew past the Marauders 12-3 on Wednesday. Considering the Mustangs have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Medfield's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-8. As for Medway, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
