McGregor is 9-1 against Troy since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The McGregor Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Troy Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

McGregor is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Clifton on Tuesday. McGregor took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clifton. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Troy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Whitney by a score of 54-43.

McGregor's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Troy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

McGregor beat Troy 49-37 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will McGregor repeat their success, or does Troy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
