Softball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Wauseon was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against the Defiance Bulldogs, falling 12-2. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Aubrianna Everly was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Defiance, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Wauseon will challenge Ottawa Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Defiance, they are taking a road trip to face off against Crestview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
