It was a good run, but Jamestown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Tabb Tigers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 14-25, 25-19.

Jamestown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kira Van Deusen, who had 11 digs and two aces. Peyton Tilley also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-3. As for Tabb, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Jamestown has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Gloucester on the 1st. As for Tabb, they will host Bruton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
