Volleyball Recap: North Pontotoc Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Pontotoc, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the West Union Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

North Pontotoc walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-17, 25-16.

West Union's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Cook, who had 22 digs, and Lauren Roaten, who had 18 digs. Cook has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The win got North Pontotoc back to even at 6-6. As for West Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14-1.

North Pontotoc has already played their next match (against Mooreville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Potts Camp on the 18th.
