Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeway Roadrunners vs. Hamilton Wildcats

The Ridgeway Roadrunners will challenge the Hamilton Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ridgeway has four straight victories, Hamilton has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Ridgeway beat Power Center Academy 44-32.

Le'Khya Gray had an outrageously good game as she made all 11 shots she took for 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenzie Jackson, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-12, which was the final score in Hamilton's tilt against Melrose on Friday.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Ridgeway, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Everything came up roses for Ridgeway against Hamilton when the teams last played two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 57-23 victory. In that game, Ridgeway amassed a halftime lead of 38-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
