Spanish Fort strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Briarwood Christian Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Toros also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Zoe Beech paced Spanish Fort's offense, picking up nine kills. Beech got some help from Cailyn Boykin and her 26 assists. Victoria Holley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Spanish Fort's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Briarwood Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Spanish Fort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Daphne on the 23rd. As for Briarwood Christian, they will take on Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
