Football Recap: Southeast Falls to Garfield in First Game of Season

Southeast unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Garfield Rams by a score of 21-18 on Thursday. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 21-13 to the Rams when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coming up, Southeast will square off against Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Garfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Revere at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
