Soccer Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Ridge Academy managed to slip by Forge Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Fury on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Eagle Ridge Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Forge Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Eagle Ridge Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season. As for Forge Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Ridge Academy will square off against rival St. Mary's Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forge Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Jefferson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
