Football Recap: New Salem Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials 50-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Holsteins of the 52-16 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

New Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Salem is set to take on their familiar foe Mott-Regent/New England on Friday. Meanwhile, Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will challenge rival Standing Rock on Friday.
