Jackson Mann turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than 12 strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Clewiston's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 2-7 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Mann and Clewiston will challenge IMG Academy Navy at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Mann had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April of 2024 7-5. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
