Volleyball Recap: Carver Birmingham Takes a Loss

Carver Birmingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wenonah Dragons. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 19-25, 25-23.

Carver Birmingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wenonah, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Carver Birmingham will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodlawn at 6:00 p.m. on September 11. As for Wenonah, they will welcome John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
