Meanwhile, Sunrise Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 59-55 victory over the Indians. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Indians are ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wichita Defenders HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
