Football Recap: Midview Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Midview's offense. They were beaten by the Avon Eagles 52-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Middies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Eagles are ranked tenth).

Even if they lost, Midview's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Sawyer McMillin, Zachary MacGregor, and Jerry Stewart, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Midview is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. As for Avon, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
