The home team had come away the winner the last five times Honoka'a and Hawaii Prep had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dragons blew past the Ka Makani 42-0  on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won seven matchups by 20  points or more  so far this season.
 Honoka'a's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  seven times. The heavy lifting was done by  Jeremiah Lyman-Palakiko and  Kaikea McShane, who racked up  four sacks between them.  Kalae Lindsey got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Honoka'a's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-3. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Hawaii Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
As of now, neither Honoka'a nor the Ka Makani have any future games scheduled.
