Basketball Recap: Frederic Comes Up Short

Frederic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Siren Dragons, falling 62-12. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Dragons are ranked 212th).

Frederic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Siren, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederic will welcome Turtle Lake at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Siren, they will be playing at home against Unity at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
