Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Beats Kimberly for Their Fifth Straight Win

Pewaukee entered their tilt with Kimberly on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Papermakers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Leading Pewaukee to victory were Lucy May and Kiley Eske. May had six digs and three aces, while Eske had 11 digs. That's the most aces May has posted since back in August.

Finley Van Lannen and Emma Tesch certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Van Lannen had 14 digs and one assist, while Tesch had 17 assists and five digs. Van Lannen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Pewaukee's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Kimberly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-11.

Pewaukee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Waunakee on the 27th. As for Kimberly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Wisconsin Lutheran on the 27th.
