Dora is 9-1 against Gateway Christian since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Dora Coyotes are taking a road trip to challenge the Gateway Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Dora took a 21-point loss the last time they faced off against Elida, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Dora narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Elida 55-52. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Gateway Christian over Floyd in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Gateway Christian blew Floyd out of the water with a 69-29 final score. The Warriors pushed the score to 60-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Broncos had no chance of recovering from.

Dora better keep an eye on Grady Munson. He was instrumental in Gateway Christian's win, going 8-for-13 to rack up 22 points and six steals. Munson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed five or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack McCracken, who posted 11 points.

Gateway Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. Dora pushed their record up to 13-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Dora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Gateway Christian when the teams last played on February 6th, but they still walked away with a 57-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dora since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
