Baseball Recap: Hooker Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mooreland on Thursday, Hooker came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Fargo/Gage Bearcats on Friday, falling 10-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 8-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hooker's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fargo/Gage, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hooker will welcome Lookeba-Sickles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fargo/Gage, they will head out on the road to square off against Leedey at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bison have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
