Baseball Recap: Rushford-Peterson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mabel-Canton last Friday, Rushford-Peterson came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 4-1 to the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons on Thursday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 9-1.

Rushford-Peterson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Rushford-Peterson nor Wabasha-Kellogg have any future games scheduled.
