Basketball Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Prospect Ridge Academy Miners

The Boulder Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder is looking for their season's first win.

Boulder is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a hard 58-42 fall against Monarch on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Prospect Ridge Academy had just enough and edged out Arvada 28-25 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Boulder better keep an eye on Amelia Waggoner. She was instrumental in Prospect Ridge Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. What's more, Waggoner posted five steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Prospect Ridge Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Boulder's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their record now sits at 2-3.
