Basketball Recap: Joel Barlow Comes Up Short

Joel Barlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stratford Red Devils. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 39-36 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Joel Barlow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Stratford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Joel Barlow will square off against Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stratford and Bullard-Havens will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
