Baseball Recap: Tempe Prep Comes Up Short

Tempe Prep blew Heritage Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Heritage Academy got their revenge. Tempe Prep fell just short of Heritage Academy by a score of 2-0. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Will Drescher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Tempe Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Heritage Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4-1.
