Volleyball Preview: A Rolling Compton Meets a Wounded Centennial

The Compton Tarbabes will venture away from home to square off against the Centennial Apaches at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Compton, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Compton was able to grind out a solid victory over Dominguez, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tarbabes.

Meanwhile, Centennial came up short against Compton Early College on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-14.

Compton has now won three of their last four games on the road. That somehow still isn't as good as their 6-1 record this season. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 contests, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 1-8 record this season.
