Recap: Somonauk/Leland Bobcats vs. Harvest Christian Academy Lions
On Friday, Somonauk/Leland was the victim of a rough 61-40 loss at the hands of Harvest Christian Academy. Somonauk/Leland was down 53-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
It was another big night for Daphne Brown, who scored 28 points along with six assists and six rebounds for Harvest Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Ellie Semerau was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists.
Somonauk/Leland has not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last eight matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 7-23 record this season. As for Harvest Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11.
Somonauk/Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schaumburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Harvest Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
