Basketball Recap: Lockney Comes Up Short

Lockney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Sudan Hornets 54-21. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.

Lockney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Sudan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lockney will square off against rival Olton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sudan is set to face off against their familiar foe Farwell at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
