Jacorey Davis was a major factor in Shepherd's win over Anderson-Shiro on Friday. Davis rushed for 172 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries, which was good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards.

Davis and Shepherd will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diboll at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
