Basketball Recap: New Salem Takes a Loss

New Salem lost against Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The New Salem Holsteins came up short against Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent], falling 43-21. The matchup marked the Holsteins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Salem now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent], their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

New Salem will venture away from home to square off against Wilton/Wing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent], they will be home for the holidays to greet Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
