Basketball Recap: Jaida James Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Northwest

There's no place like home for Bell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-33 victory over the Northwest Texans on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-46 back in December of 2024.

Bell's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaida James, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, James is now averaging an impressive 8 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Hannah Due, who posted 19 points.

Bell's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11. As for Northwest, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Keller Central the next time they take the court. Northwest will host Keller Central at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bell will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on January 24th.
