Baseball Game Preview: Prince Edward County Eagles vs. Nottoway Cougars

Prince Edward County is 8-2 against Nottoway since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Prince Edward County's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Thursday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Buckingham hit Prince Edward County with a six-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Knights, falling 11-2.

Prince Edward County came out on top in a nail-biter against Nottoway when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4.
