Basketball Recap: Tylertown Takes a Loss

Tylertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 61-48 to the Provine Rams. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 82-54 to the Rams when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tylertown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Provine, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tylertown will take on Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Provine, they will face off against Jim Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
