Soccer Recap: Raleigh Charter Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Wake Academy on Friday, Raleigh Charter came back down to earth. The Phoenix lost 3-0 to the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Monday. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Raleigh Charter it sure didn't stay that way.

With the loss, Raleigh Charter broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-5-1. As for Triangle Math & Science, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Raleigh Charter will take on rival NCSSM: Durham at 4:00 p.m. on October 8. Meanwhile, Triangle Math & Science is set to face off against their familiar foe Neuse Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
