Baseball Recap: Elyria Takes a Loss

If Elyria was riding high fresh off their 9-2 takedown of Lorain on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pioneers came up short against the North Ridgeville Rangers on Monday, falling 13-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Elyria now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Ridgeville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Elyria will be playing in front of their home fans against Potsdam at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for North Ridgeville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Midview at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
