Alpaugh won the last time they faced Legacy Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Buffalos were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Lions. The Buffalos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Alpaugh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ruben Landin and Adrian Alfaro. Alfaro is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least ten every time he's taken the field this season.

Alpaugh pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.4 points on average over those games. As for Legacy Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Alpaugh is taking a road trip to face off against Trona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalos' defense better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 29.3 points per game this season. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kings Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
