Baseball Recap: St. Michael's Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After losing to Antonian Prep the last time they met, St. Michael decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Michael's Warriors came out on top against the Antonian Prep Apaches by a score of 17-14 on Tuesday.

St. Michael's got a massive performance out of Will Garcia, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Garcia also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Jacob Garcia was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Will wasn't the only one working in the hit department: St. Michael's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

St. Michael's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Antonian Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.

St. Michael's will have a chance to go back-to-back against Antonian Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
