North Fort Myers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Estero Wildcats a 5-0 shutout. The Red Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Estero with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hannah Busenbark (2), Kenlee Dominguez, Jaelyn Hoefer, and Bailey Root.

North Fort Myers' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five matchups. As for Estero, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3-1.

North Fort Myers will take on Mariner in a tournament on Thursday. Mariner will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something North Fort Myers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Estero, they will host Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
