Meridian is 10-0 against Harrison since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Meridian Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Harrison Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Meridian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Meridian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 70-20 win over Farwell. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Pinconning and fell 72-41. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 678th, while the Spartans are ranked 286th).

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Meridian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Everything went Meridian's way against Harrison in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Meridian made off with a 58-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meridian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
