Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gibson Southern). They took down the Princeton Tigers 78-64 on Friday. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Leading Gibson Southern to victory were Paige Schnaus and Avery Paridaen. Schnaus dropped a double-double with 24 points and 18 boards, while Paridaen shot 69% from the field en route to 24 points and eight rebounds. The matchup was Schnaus' third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Spindler, who posted eight points.

As for Princeton, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
Looking ahead, Gibson Southern will square off against Silver Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Princeton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-62 win against Evansville Central on the 22nd.
