Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln saw some tournament action on Friday. They came up short against the Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers, falling 49-28.

Dayana Haslett had an outrageously good game for Brownstown/St. Elmo as she shot 70% from the field on her way to 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Ramsey, who posted ten points.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pana at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Highland at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
